Girls and young women have told us they want politicians to make a change. They want compulsory Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE), and schools to include lessons on body confidence and gender equality.
Peer Educators scoop top award for body confidence badge
Girlguiding’s tireless campaigning for girls’ body confidence was celebrated at the Body Confidence Awards on 16 October. The charity won the Educator Outside of Schoolaward for the launch of its first-ever body confidence badge, Free Being Me.
The ceremony took place at the Houses of Parliament hosted by fashion guru Gok Wan and presenter Jameela Jamil.
