AMY JOHNSON CHALLENGE
2016 is the 75th anniversary of the death of Amy Johnson CBE, the pioneer aviator. Born in Hull on July 1st 1903, Amy Johnson became the first woman to fly solo from the UK to Australia and set a string of other records during her flying career. We have created this challenge to celebrate Amy’s life and achievements. There are three sections:
