About us
Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK.
We are a registered charity and we welcome and include all girls, whatever their background or circumstances. In East Yorkshire we have a membership of over 2,000 girls and are active across the county. You’ll find us in many communities, helping to give girls a head start in life and encouraging them to be happy, self-confident and curious about the world they live in and the difference they can make.
East Yorkshire County is one of 17 Counties within North East Region of Girlguiding.
We have 10 divisions across the county, facilitating Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders to meet and have fun through the Girlguiding Programme.
As a county we are always in need of adult volunteers to help us to continue what we do best.
