This is a communication programme that uses symbols\, signs\, and speech to help people express themselves and develop essential language skills. \nGuides Taster Leaflet \nWhat will I learn at the Taster? In this short 90 minute workshop\, you will learn a general introduction of what Makaton is\, and who uses it. This will be a fun and interactive workshop where you will learn 30 useful everyday words\, and an extra 12 focussed on Rainbows\, Brownies\, and Girl Guides. All participants receive a Certificate upon completion. This is open to all volunteers including Young Leaders. Anyone under 18 will require parental permission. \nPlaces are limited to 12\, so bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. There is a follow up session which will be offered to those who attend the workshop\, this will be held on 16th April via zoom\, 7.00-8.30pm.
