Safer Guiding Training

Safer Guiding training covers Including All, Safeguarding, Data Protection and Health and
Safety. The course is suitable for ALL volunteers requiring Safer Guiding for their role.
This training is open to all volunteers from all counties. Training costs are a legitimate unit cost
and can be claimed from unit funds. You can also claim travel expenses from unit funds. If
you’re travelling from further afield and are willing to car share please let me know when you
make the booking as this may enable other volunteers to attend the training.

Time: 10.30am to 3.30 pm (Registration from 10.15am) – Drinks
available, this includes a 30 minute lunch break

Cost: £5* payable in advance of the training (*if booked before 31.08.25)

What to wear and bring: Please wear uniform. Bring a packed lunch plus a
pen, notebook and your GAYT card (if
appropriate). If you are a Leader in Training, bring
your Leadership Qualification book.
